I have this guy friend who i love more then a friend but we wont ever be together. He always tells me that last thing he would want to do is hurt me and he asks me all the time if he is. I've been lying to him telling him no but i cant do it anymore its driving me crazy i feel like im going to snap.I just dont know how to tell him i dont want to make him feel bad its not his fault that hes hurting me i love are friendship and i dont want to lose what little i have of him. It won't hurt you and if you and him really are good friends you letting him know that you like him more than a friend won't affect your friendship with him. Believe it or not I went through the same situation as you. My friend didn't ask if he was always hurting my feelings or anything but he had his own little way of showing that he cared. He sensed when I was sad and everything and I have known him for 3 years. We recently got closer to each other our Junior Year in High School(this school year). I told him one day because I just couldn't take it anymore. I asked him "what would you do if I turned around to you one day and told you I loved you?" he replied "I would say cool. But do you like me?" I said "Promise me you won't freak out. But yes. Yes I do like you." He didn't reply for a while and when he did he said "Okay Cool :)" Yes him and I have had our fights since than and me asking him out and him rejecting me oddly still bothers him till this day. But because I admitted that I liked him, him and I didn't let it ruin our friendship. It actually improved it by much more. But like siblings him and I do have our share of fights and sometimes we want to just strangle each other. My point is...Admit it what is the worst that can happen? Like I said and the lesson learned in my story. If you both are really close he won't let your crush on him ruin everything. Maybe it will turn out the way it did with me. And its happened more than once. But he seems like he really cares about you. Take a chance. You shouldn't live life wondering "what if" but live life saying "Oh well". Life is about taking chances. You never know the outcome until you put yourself out there and take a chance in life. I wish you the best of luck!
