plz help me!!

Okay, lol.. this started all in 6th grade right.. this boy named leon was in the children's home of wheeling (my dad worked there)
& he went to triadelphia with me. we were like besties & blah blah we was always close cause my dad was his favorite staff & blah blah lol. so we were bestie BUT we liked each other, but we never told each other, then before 8th grade started he moved back home.. 3hrs away. & in my sophomore year we found eachother on myspace & started tlaking again, and then i was like you know i liked you in 6th & 7th grade right? & he was like yeah i liked you too blah blah. then like we kept being friends then last year, in like april he got this girlfriend & i wasn't really caring b/c we all far apart & we didn't talk much anymore.. so then in May he went to jail .. then september (on my birthday lol) i wrote him a letter, and it wasnt anything like weird.. it was like just a friendly letter like i heard you was in jail so i thought i would write you im sure you could use a friend blah blah, just basically saying im here for you..& then he wrote back like wow i didnt expect 2 hear from you & then like idk through out the letters he was like all callin me baby & was like im moving back to wheeling & saying all this ****, i really just ignored it cause i thought he was like prison talking right? PLUS he still got this girlfriend, and so i was like dont you got a girl? then like all the baby calling & all that calmed down it was just friendly.. then like the last couple letters he was calling me all that again, and i sent him some money.. then he got out on jan 22. & he messaged me & was like im out, blah blah, & he was still callin me baby & saying hes moving here & what not.. so i'm all happy right? lol. & then like 2 weeks later we was texting & his signature said 'leon N Britt' & i was like err? you got a girl? & he was like yeah not the one frm jail blah blah.. (btw they broke up when he got out cause she cheated) & so i was like oh? then the next day i asked him to prom lol & he said HELL YEAH, then the next day he was like my girls mad but i told her to get over it cause im going, then i was like okay tell her dnt worry about it cause we've always been close, and all this.. so then like we would text all the time, he would text me every morning, saying good morning baby & every night - same thing.. then this one day he was like do you think about me? & i was like yeah why , you think about me? & he was like yeah all the time, blah blah.. so all this time i was thinking he likes me yano? & it's pretty obvious i like him.. then this ***** called my dad.. & they was talking about me & my dad said 'yeah i used to have kiesha on lock down but shes 18 i cant do nothing now' & tyrell was like i can take over for you.. so i'm still like? yano? lol.. then he texted me & said him n his girl broke up, then they got back together like 2 days later.. so i'm just all confused now..& he texted me & said 'ima print out a pic of me & send it to you in the mail" & on wednesday, he asked his P.O. if he could move to wheeling.. THEN him & his girl break up for good, and in that same day he texted me & his signature said 'ii want her' & i said who is her? & he said this girl named kayla. .. so now i'm real confused like where she come from?!! & then he texted me 'good night baby' & that was still his signature.. then an hour later he texted me 'good night baby' & his signature was 'im 4 real' so i'm like wtf? & then now this random *** chick is in his top , he hasnt texted me for three days & when i texted him he wrote back one word & then didn't write back when i responded. now.. i'm here before you today with this pathetic story of my life, lmfao
the thing is i dont want to move on i've been liking him for 6 - going on 7 years! plus he's a good friend, & i can't be mad.. because we're not together, we never said we we're going to be together.. and he lives 3 hours away! the whole thing is the distance .. that's what he always implies ... 'if i was closer to you i would get with you' & i'm pretty sure he's just insecure with himself, that's why he keeps getting all these girls.. every relationship he's had, they cheated on him..so he's not a bad guy.
