How do i tell my godfather that im ready to shoot a handgun?

i would prove to him that u have as much gutsd to shhot a shot gun as u do in mexic lol
but i would tell ur godfather how u feel and show him that u knw the responsbilitys of shooting a shoot gun and tell him that u are old enough and tell him that for the first time in ur life that u have been waiting for a moment like this and how much it means to u

TELL HIM UR ABOUT OLD ENOUGH AND THAT YOU KNOW HOW TO SHOOT ONE AND HOLD ONE AND THAT YOU'VE DONE IT BEFORE AND THAT HE SHOULD LET YOU TRY.TELL HIM IT WOULDN'T HURT FOR ME TO TRY AND I WON'T HURT NOBODY.

I say tell him that you are old enough to shoot with a handgun. That your ready to make your own decisions. Might be kinda harsh but ill bet that he will understand. Hope this helps you out.

Wait for him to be in a good mood, and tell him that since tomorrow is new year's, and you want to do something amazing to start the year ..you would like to shoot a handgun.
