I am starting a new school on Aug. 17th.

I'm going to be a junior in high school this upcoming school year. I have never transferred schools before, so I have had the same people surrounding me as far back as Kindergarten. I made friends very easily my freshman year in high school, and I was sure to keep my middle school friends close. Recently, I have decided I would like to change schools to my current high school's rival, which has 3x less students and is closer to my house. My current high school is a very rich school with high expectations, and I just can't handle it anymore. I'm not moving, so I won't lose contact with my current friends, or at least I hope not to. This switch is all by choice.

As you can imagine, I'm very nervous. I know a few people that go to my new school, but not all too well. I need advice covering EVERY aspect of this topic, because school starts in two months, and I am very nervous, yet I am stoked. Thank you! C:
