petrified of my math teacher/breaking point/help?!
Well to start off im terrible at math, and this year, my first year in highschool, i've had a terrible math teacher. Hes mean, gets angry at wrong answers, randomly calls on students, is intimidating. I get nearvous before his class everyday/think about it all day. My life revolves around when his class is going to start, end and be the next time. Its getting old. not a day passes by without me having sweaty hands, a dizzy head or a hardtime breating due to aniexty. Today, something bad happend at his class, he randomly called on me, and i answered wrong and he freaked out saying "your unbelievable GET OUT, cya cya" and alot of other things, that i cant remeber. I just sat there and starred, chocking back tears. I've dealt with him for long now, and theres only 3 more moths left of school, i dont want to change my shedule by getting a new teacher. Just can someone tell me what to do to be calm or how to reeact to this? Im oblivious. my mom wants to emial a guidance councilar and HIM but i told her not too. HELP.

you should've changed your
Submitted by Adren on February 23, 2010 - 8:35pm.you should've changed your schedule earlier.. all you can do now is tough it out.. a lot of times students and teachers won't mix well together.. I've had a handfull of teachers I could just not get along with and had to drop their classes and find others.. at the same time, by realizing early on that it wouldn't work I was able to find better teachers I was more compatible with and did great in their classes.. I've tried to be stubborn and stuck it out with the worst of them but barely got by with low grades coz not all teaching styles are to everbody's learning style, especially not with teachers who like to bully their students.. and some do.. some do it on purpose to push students harder while others do it coz they're just plain douschebags.. but you did nothing now you have to tough it out.. three months will pass quickly.. don't even worry about that class though.. don't stress yourself out for a meezley class.. it's your freshman year.. you'll have plenty of other classes and time to do all that.. these classes aren't as crucial to your life as they make it to be, trust me.. just go and don't give the guy a second thought, otherwise it'll affect your other classes and you can't let one punk teacher ruin the rest of your class periods.. good luck.
