What should I do about a prom date? There aren't really many girls I could ask to be my date, and I don't have a girlfriend. I have until May this is really stressful. I've thought about putting an ad on craigslist but there has to be a better alternative. Any help will be appreciated, thank you.

Or like Adren said, using social networking can be really effective. More along the lines of facebook though, not craigslist. The other week this guy posted something on facebook asking if anyone wanted to go to this dance with him as a joke and he actually got a date so it works! And if you can't find somebody, but you still want to go it's totally fine to go by yourself or with your group of friends...

Submitted by Adren on February 23, 2010 - 8:38pm.if you don't want to ask anybody out from your school use your social networks (myspace, facebook, IM, AIM, etc.).. I wouldn't recommend craigslist coz you never know who you're actually dealing with.. if all those options fail you may want to ask somebody's or your own cousin.. maybe one of your friends' sister.. worst comes to worse just skip it all together.. prom really isn't all they hype it up to be.. if you can go then go.. if not then either go stag or don't go at all or do what i did one year.. just show up to the party after prom.. good luck.
