QuotesGuy I like has friends who are girls.. should I trust him?
Hey everyone, I really like this guy and he likes me.. to the point where he tells me im pretty much his girlfriend. He plays world of warcraft and is friends with a girl on there and talks to her a lot over ventrilo ( an online voice chat program) and AIM. They watch movies online together and he says she is one of his best WoW friends. I get jealous very easily and often get jealous of her.. but he tells me that they are just friends and will never be anything more than that because she has some qualities he doesn't like about her. I've told him that it bothers me that he hangs out with her so much but I just end up driving him away with jealousy. Do you think my jealousy has validity or should I calm down? I guess I'm asking if guys and girls can really just be friends.
P.S. I asked him if I could "meet" her by talking to her on vent and he said maybe.. he thinks it would be awkward.

Submitted by Tasonoff on April 8, 2010 - 10:15pm.Him being a paladin and her being a healer explains a lot. And I mean a lot. I'm not sure if I have the ability to properly explain it to a non WoW player so pardon my missteps.
WoW has a defined social and gaming structure. One cannot form a effective group without a "tank" and capable "healer". Both can be hard to find so when one is found, its like mine..mine..mine..you can't have him/her. I guess a better way to explain it is like having a teammate you can always count on.
Now if you guy is a healing paladin then its more of a class unity thing. I've said too much..some people may be looking for me now. Almost a year of being WoW clean and I won't let them take me back!

On a side note...do you know what classes they play? Cuz, if he is a "tank" and she is a "healer" then you are treading on sacred grounds. I know it sounds ridiculous but..let me not say anymore, it will just sound really really silly. However, for the WoW addicts out there..you guys know what I mean.
