so i really like this guy and have for like two years now. Anyways he's in my class again haha and the problem is we've never spoken before but i really want to ask him to prom... i know what you're thinking but i really think he likes me too and it kinda makes things hard if we're both shy.. like cuz he's always looking at me and i get so nervous i don't look back =[ but yeah i was thinking writing him a note saying if he wanted to come to prom with me and i know we don't know each other that much but maybe we could get to know each other on the way or during class. Would that be ok or would that freak him out??? i really can't talk to him please help!! (super shy) would it freak him out?

smile at him occasionally and say hi, how are you, how's your day going?(kind gestures)
after class ask him his name, or if you know it than pretend you forgot it. introduce yourself back and TALK!
what do you have to lose? ask him his hobbies and interests and ask him where he's from and how he likes school. TRY NOT TO BE SHY! chewing gum is a way of hiding your shyness as well, so when you decide to talk to him just pop in a piece of gum and talk away, because you'll chew away the tension of talking to him. once you two get comfortable, then you give hints about the prom. once you know his opinion on it and whether or not he wants to go, ask him if he has a date and if not...BINGO! ask him if he would like to go with you.

you might hit it off with him, or u can tell him u like him very much and beg him to go to the prom with you
