Hmm I have been wondering the whole time that: Are guys (especially good-looking ones) intimidated by pretty girls? I mean I dont know wat the problem is, is that bcuz im not pretty or bcuz guys just fear of rejection that they dont really talk to me?! Honestly I think I'm good looking and have a good personality ( All my friends, both guys and girls tell me that Im really nice and have a great sense of humor, they tell me I really can make them laugh a lot and that Im a fun person to hang with). But how come guys just never talk to me? Sometimes I do catch some guys lookin at me but then they never talk to me??? Every single time it will just stop at "gazing".
Theres anothing: I go to a school in an area that the majority of them are white. I'm Asian. Is that a turn-off? Do guys always prefer white girls over asian girls?
So wats the deal? Im confident about who I am, but sometimes its jus sad and I feel like Im not attractive to guys!

Submitted by Adren on February 21, 2010 - 8:33pm.absolutely guys are intimidated, even the good looking ones.. a common mistake guys make is to assume that a beautiful girl is probably already taken or is stuck up.. they convince themselves that they don't stand a chance before they even attempt to smile at you.. at the same time that fear of rejection is daunting.. I don't understand why people are so afraid of rejection.. it's a part of life and we must learn to deal with it because we will be rejected throughout our lives by people we care about to employers.. rejection sucks but it quickly fades and you move on and you live.. the challenge for girls, like you, is to make guys comfortable enough around you to make a move.. to see how cool you are.. you have to put in more effort than average girls.. pretty girls usually only get hit on by the idiots, coz they have no common sense.. that's why you may see a really pretty girl with somebody not so great.. they only meet those guys who don't know any better.. they go up to girls for the thrill or fun of it coz they expect to get rejected.. eventually a pretty girl will give in and date one of these guys.. and as an asian, for most guys.. asians are sexier than other girls.. all of my friends love asian girls, as do I.. I prefer it, actually.. and from your picture you are a very beautiful girl.. you just got to approach these guys or get them to approach you with a smile.. smile at these guys and don't look away if they are looking at you.. show interest so they won't be discouraged.. good luck.
