Is it hard for girls to be "just friends"

when someone really like you they get shy and dont want to talk because they are afraid of what they look like and dont want you to see them (sometimes)
but yeah girls like to be friends with guys for a while find out there personality!
to see if it could leadf to somthing else

Usually us girls want guys as friends until we find the right one. And that right one is usually a really good friend to begin with. I was like that with guys, just being shy around them and not knowing how to act.

Girls like funny or adventurous guy-friends. Just one warning though: if you think you can take friendship with a girl to the next level, be careful. Just because they kind of let their hair down around you since they're comfortable isn't a signal that their interested so look for other signs should you decide to make a move.

People can sometimes be very petty and standoffish when you first meet them occasionally.....not all people are like this though.
Surely girls are more clickish and prudish then men and boys are anyways.
Try to find a relatively similar style of people to sorta kinda hook up with so to speak.

If you're into school sports?...befriend the sportsters of your school of course reasonably.

I couldn't really understand the question but if you mean that.. we do that after guys break up with us because me myself, i feel idk, kinda stupid in front of the guy..most of the time one person isnt over the other when one person breaks up.
so around them after you break up things are REALLY awkward, and i try to avoid that at all cost, even if that means avoiding my ex.
in time though, things blow over and you can go back to being friends but there will always be something there no matter how much they tell you about there new girlfriend or boyfriend or how jealous they try to make you.
