what to do?

so i told my best guy friend i liked him 2 weeks ago, and he took it perfectly fine, we have been hanging out alot latley on weekends, but sometimes i feel like maybe its just like us being normal friends. starting on monday he asked me on a scale of 10 how much i liked him and i said '8.5' and he said wow thats really good. yesterday (tuesday) he was complimenting me on my looks, and that night he texeted me 'so 20 questions you go first' and i said um no you go first and he said ok 'um are you a freeze?' and i was thinking to myself uhh why are you asking me this type of question? but i reaplyed back sayingno i pretty sure im not. it took him awhile until he replyed back but when he did i was asleep. i just dont know like im so curious on asking him weather he likes me or not but i dont want to make a mistake and him say he doesnt because i didnt give him enough time to think. i havent asked him anything about this since the day i told him and i just dont know what to do =(
