There's a guy I like who always stares at me. He likes to stare from a distance. When I catch him staring, he'll hold my gaze and he won't look away. But when I walk past him in the halls, I'll look at him and he'll be already looking at me, and then he'll look away quickly. We haven't talked to each other ever. We only know each other's name.

maybe ask him yourself why he stares
you can randomly go, "what are you looking at?"
then giggle. it could be a good conversation starter.
