I've been in love with this guy for a year now. No matter what I do I can't get over him. I think part of the reason I can't is because I don't really want to.
The story is...
He flirted with me for months on end from sweet talk to putting his arms round my waist. Now, he has forgotten why I thought things were special with us and he flirts with any other girl he can. He even tells people he fancies them when he knows i'm in love with him. He doesn't consider how I feel and I know he's no good for me. But I do want to be with him. More than anything. Tbh, he must have done something when we first met to impress me. It was love at first sight for me. Not for him though.
I always wonder what it's like to have someone who loves you that much. Personally, I think he should feel lucky that I even love him that much because not many 14 year olds can say that.
I know that I want to be with him but I also know he will never go out with me. It's evident that he doesn't care about me and I need to get over him. I just find it impossible. I have tried to give up on him ever since I started liking him. It hasn't worked.
Please give me advice
I'd really appreciate it. No matter what it is.

(by the way how old is he) Then after awhile he gets bored with you. The whole i love you thing is now boring to him. I had the same thing happen. I was a freshman in high school and i asked a senior out. He did say yes and at first everything was fine and dandy. After time however he started to be less nice. Now I do not mean that he was mean to me or anything it was just no more intense flirting. By the end he was totaly over me and I still wanted him. The thing that got me over it was knowing that he only wanted to date me in order to get in my pants. After that I was fine. I do not know nor am I saying it is the same thing for you. All i can really say is watch out for yourself and know that you have your whole life to look for love so don't look down because you will not find love there.
Hoping that things get beter.

Cut him loose! you are only 14 I know it seems like he maybe the only one for you but he is not. i now it will be hard but MOVE ON. Like you said he does not want you so get someone who does want you and if you have to wait WAIT!! Cause once you get the right one he will treat you like a QUEEN and nothing less....
