First Date Option

Dinner involves trying to impress your date by going to an expensive restaurant or even ordering a salad so that date doesn’t think you are a pig. Going to a movie means you sit there, not talking to each other, for a couple of hours. How does that help in knowing one another?

Have your first date at a baseball game. Yes, you read that right. Not only is it a casual event, but also the game is slow paced so there are plenty of chances to have a conversation. Also, when talking hits a dead spot, you can then turn your attention to the game. Get seats in the upper deck where there are less people. Most ballparks have seats for less than $10. However, if you are dead set on having a seat down meal for a first date then have lunch instead of dinner. If it turns out to be a horrible date then you always can say you have to go back to work or pick up the dry cleaning.
