After the all the celebrations and parties, the question remains...what are you going to do now?

The day has finally arrived. After years and years of school, you finally graduated. No more homework and pop quizzes. No more boring classes and having to wake up early. No more school uniforms and mean teachers. Freedom! But what now? What is there after high school?

More school. College is a bit like high school except no one is really forcing you to go to classes or even reminding you to get up for them. However, unless you have a full scholarship, it is going to be expensive. When you are paying for the education, it no longer seems worth it to skip classes just because you don’t feel like going. Even with a scholarship, there is usually a grade threshold you must maintain. So hit the books and try to avoid the freshman fifteen weight gain.

Work. College might not be an option for you so maybe it is time to join the adult workforce. Grab your nice clothes and hope that you can land an entry-level job that can lead to a career or use it as a stepping-stone for something bigger. There are plenty of jobs that weigh experience over college degrees.

Military Service. Has the patriotic spirit in you taken over? Well, joining one of the military branches can provide job security and help pay for college. Plus, they offer health care and the chance to see the world.

Life begins after high school. The choices you make will take you to places you never really thought you would end up in and do things that is far from having Algebra study groups.
